Carnival of Cultures

The Carnival of Cultures 2017 takes place from June 2 to 5. It is a colourful parade of the diverse people of more than 180 nations who live in Berlin. And a lovely street festival around the parade.

Berlin Marathon

We can't wait for the Berlin Marathon to start on Sept. 24. Worldwide, it is one the most popular marathons because of our city being so flat, easy for runners to come through

Grand airport opening?

The new airport BER that our government has tried to open since June 2012 is now scheduled to be opened in (maybe) summer 2018. So don't worry about flying into Berlin, everything is "business as usual": Tegel- and Schönefeld airports will welcome you. Sorry for the delay...

Safety in Berlin

Of course we can't avoid talking about Berlin and safety after what happened in December at the Christmas-market. We mourne the victims of this mislead terrorist who kidnapped a truck and used it to attack innocent people.

Nobody shall be successful in changing our way of life and directing us into hate against other people. We feel safe in our city. The Berliners overcame WWII, the Berlin-Blockade, the Wall, the Cold War. We survive everything! This is the point of view of most of us Berliners, we let nobody destroy our lifestyle.

New Revue Show in Berlin with costumes created by Jean Paul Gaultier

Berlin art biennale - here Academy of arts at Pariser Platz

It's not Las Vegas, but the costumes are outstanding!

Just by the way: For the last two years, Berlin had the best weather all over Germany! And because there is no climate-change... ;-)

See you soon in our wonderful city!
